About RiftCards.gg
What this site is, who builds it, and how the numbers get here.
What it is
RiftCards.gg is a price and reference database for Riftbound, Riot's trading card game. It tracks every card in the catalog, what each printing is worth, and how those values move over time.
The aim is to answer the questions a collector actually has: which printing am I looking at, what does it cost, is it moving, and what would this set or champion cost me to finish.
How it works
A sync job pulls the full card catalog and merges it with pricing, then computes everything the site shows — set indices, champion pools, rarity distributions, price bands and variant premiums — and writes it out as a single data file the site reads.
That means the whole catalog is loaded at once and every search, filter and sort runs instantly in your browser rather than round-tripping to a server. It is also why the card search supports a real query language instead of a handful of dropdowns.
Price history builds up one daily snapshot at a time. The longer the tracker runs, the more meaningful the 7-day and 30-day figures become.
What makes it different
Most card databases stop at listing cards. This one is built around the market: every card page compares all of its printings side by side, sets carry an index you can chart, and the guides are generated from live data rather than written once and left to go stale.
Independence
RiftCards.gg is an unofficial fan project with no relationship to Riot Games. It is not endorsed by them and does not speak for them.
Nobody pays for placement. Rankings and prices come out of the same pipeline for every card, and no retailer can buy a better position. If that ever changes, it will be labelled where it appears — see the affiliate disclosure.
Who builds it
RiftCards.gg is built and operated by the abmonetize team, based in Romania.
